The University of West Florida will host an Environmental Symposium in the University Commons Auditorium on Thursday, April 22nd, 2010. The theme will be 'Environmental Issues In All Fields'. A variety of professors from several different departments will be speaking on how environmental issues fit into other fields of study beyond environmental science including Anthropology, Economics, Hospitality, Journalism, Philosophy and Psychology. Presentations are from 9-12 in Conference Center A in the UWF commons and are free and open to the public.

Pensacola Junior College is hosting their second annual Renewable Energy Forum on April 22 (Earth Day) from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at PJC’s Milton campus (5988 Highway 90), Building/Room 4200. The Renewable Energy Forum features presentations on renewable energy topics from a panel of speakers from industry, academia, government and utilities, followed by a moderated question-and-answer period. The event is FREE and open to the public, so we encourage everyone to invite colleagues, family and friends!
